DISABILITIES
CATERED
FOR

Before any new members join our sessions, we always like to have a chat and learn a little about the individuals' condition and difficulties. This enables us to discuss and assess how we can best prepare for when they attend the session for the first time. It also helps to ensure that their first experience is a safe and enjoyable one.

Typically some examples of disabilities catered for are:

  • Blind - with training bars and/or radios used for assistance
  • Single leg amputees – using outriggers
  • Double leg amputees – using Sit Skis with small outriggers
  • Paraplegics – using Sit Skis and Ski Karts
  • Quadriplegics – using a Pilot ski
  • Cerebral Palsy
  • Special needs
  • Autism
  • Down syndrome
